USA: Independence Day celebrations at Philadelphia's Nasir Mosque

Food was plentiful and everyone enjoyed the burgers and chicken. As it was a hot day, consuming watermelon provided the cool sensation to the participants. In addition, water and soda bottle were also available to crunch the thirst.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community's Philadelphia chapter celebrated America’s 237th birthday in the historic city of Philadelphia where United States of America was born on July 4th 1776.
The Ahmadiyya Nasir Mosque was decorated with American flags and two large banners carrying the sayings of Holy Founder of Islām, the Prophet Muhammad; proclaiming “Love of one’s country of residence is part of faith,” and “Muslims for Loyalty.”
The neighbors around the mosque vicinity were invited to a mid-day barbeque which was cooked on the mosque property.
The local president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Mujeeb Chaudhry welcomed the arriving guests at the mosque with “Happy 4th of July” greetings.
